Dante watched as the ship took away another member of the crew. It seemed puzzling... a former crew-member of the Arcadia's past had returned to take one away. What was even stranger was the mystery surrounding the sudden recall of the changelings. Granted, the Council had its reasons, obviously... but it seemed odd. Even by changeling standards.
"Doesn't it strike you as strange, that they began acting like us after their return? Almost as if they had absorbed parts of humanity... but not the best parts?" Rolling a golf ball between his fingers, Dante looked at the viewscreen. "Something else is going on here. The question is what? And more importantly... why are those hundred so important now?"
