history
Meloc was the site of the Arcadia colony, named after the region in Earth's ancient Greece, settled by ancestors of George Moussakis along with the other so-called "Greek colonies". At some point by the late 24th century (317 CE), the colony was abandoned or destroyed.
The UFS Arcadia visited Meloc II in 319 CE, leading to the colony's re-establishment.
