3rd century scientist, part of the Genesis project development team and son of James Kirk. (The Wrath of Khan)

Following his murder by Kruge's order on the Genesis planet (The Search for Spock), the "Genesis effect" regenerated Marcus and others who had died in proximity. Brought aboard the USS Chadwick, Marcus played a role in thwarting an attempted takeover by Kruge and followers of Khan Singh.

Marcus' ultimate fate is unknown.  The Undiscovered Country suggests he died again by 230 CE.
