Bartokian cruiser Dinaqa
Milla smiled at Paul. She would have smiled at Cerina as well... but the Bartokian crew had been frozen for the time being. Besides... it was Paul she wanted to talk to.
"Who am I supposed to be... what an interesting question. I'm supposed to be a Q. Milla, to be exact."
The Q were well-known throughout the galaxy. A race of omnipotent beings... able to control space, time, and matter with the blink of an eye. They had an odd fascination with humans... often interjecting themselves into their affairs. One Q had an odd affinity for Jean-Luc Picard, when Picard had been captain of the Enterprise. This particular Q had Stephen April as her target of interest. Q could be merely annoying... or downright deadly. It was well-known to not get onto a Q's bad side.
While she let that set in with Paul, she turned her attention momentarily to Cerina. "Oh, she turned out so well." Noticing Paul's confused look, she said, "Well... I'm the one who made Simon Ringo into a Bartokian... so I guess that makes me her aunt. Or something like that." Clapping her hands together, she turned back to Paul. "But... I digress. Lovely little Bartokian girl aside... you're the reason I'm here."
