Dante and Ria had both turned. If the herd of intelligent mice hadn't been enough, then this truly took the proverbial cake.
The new crew member introduced... itself? An Ensign Aranittara Indas; a junior science officer. Nodding in the direction of the cookie-eating crew member, Dante said, "I'm Commander Dante Winters."
Ria smiled. "Lieutenant Ria Stavros. I'm the ship's diplomatic officer. It's a pleasure to meet you, Ensign." This was certainly shaping up to be an interesting assignment.
