Jiang Xi, of Earth Chinese ancestry, worked in Arcadia's sciences department for several years. He often manned the bridge science station on beta shift.

Xi used to end up in sickbay on a recurring basis – seemingly every time he visited the holodeck. He liked dangerous recreational activities which pushed safety parameters to their limits.

He once had a romantic interest (unrequited) in Sunni Moon.
