[Crete, the Mediterranean, Earth]
It was an image that almost every male member of Arcadia's crew would have given anything to see: A completely nude Eve Ordalani... water dripping from her body... emerging from the Mediterranean Sea.
Reaching up, she wrung some of the water from her hair. She looked over in the direction of the fire. Andrew was asleep. He should have been. They had been at it for several hours. Even though her body was still screaming for more, she let him have his rest.
Turning, she stared out into the blackness of the night. A warm breeze blew through the night air. Her senses took it all in... the sounds, smells, sensations.
There was something happening with her. She knew it... but couldn't put her finger on what exactly. She... remembered things, that she never remembered reading, or hearing. And how could she suddenly tell when people lied? It was linked to that mysterious headache in sickbay. But how? Hopefully, Tabatha would have some more answers when Eve and Andrew returned to the Arcadia.
Tabatha... What would she think of Eve's behavior? Ringo, Clicker... now Andrew. Humans didn't have the same sensibilities as Bartokians. To them, sex was a sacred thing... shared between two people. They didn't think that Bartokians took sex that seriously – which couldn't have been further from the truth. Eve took this very seriously. It was just... She couldn't help herself. Her hormones were screaming for more. It was taking every ounce of self-control to keep from running over and waking Andrew for another round. She had already masturbated herself to orgasm several times. Needless to say... it hadn't helped much.
And then, there was the matter with Ringo. She had treated the ensign so badly. And she already felt terrible about it. He had tried to help her... and she literally threw him out of her quarters. Crossing her arms, she looked up at the sky.
"I'm so sorry, Simon. I hope I have the courage to tell you so." Closing her eyes, she said quietly, "Those who came before me... forgive me for my insensitivity... and grant me the strength to make things right."
