Griff looked around carefully. Up ahead was a vacant quarters and Griff needed a nap. Heading into the deserted quarters Griff laid on the bunk and swiftly fell asleep, justifying his actions with When I need to move, I will; until then, night-night.
Griff had so far avoided the CO and most of the other crew including the chief of security himself. Planning to keep it that way, Griff ensured he always drew the quarters patrol or a little brig time, with Griff at the controlling end.
Griff suspected neither the CO or the CSO knew or cared who he was and that suited Griff just fine.
