Fade wondered why someone would want to visit other universes when this one held so much wonder and endless experiences to fill many lifetimes. There was, he knew, joy in conquering the impossible. Just as each new planet and system was rife with possibility, likewise the endless universes in the great unseen foam of material existence was a true testament to infinite diversity in infinite combination.
"As the department chief you have the authority to assign any and all resources, including the labs, to the personnel of your choice. This PADD contains the codes, lists and details particular to the science department. If you need help procuring more items, including... unconventional items, please let me know directly. My staff will be on call should you need anything moved or brought in for installation." Concluding, Fade offered, "If there is nothing else of immediate concern, I shall be on my way.
