Simon maneuvered around the shattered chairs, keeping a safe distance between Eve and himself, unsure what was going to be thrown next.
"No, I can't say how other crew members are going to react... but how is it going to look for me, Simon Ringo, master of the voice, when people hear this Adam Sandler guy sing as Opera Man...."
Eve looked at him rather puzzled. "Opera man?" she replied.
"Yeah, this guy goes around talking but singing, wears a black wig and a cape. Can you see me in a black wig? Or a cape?" Reaching down for the remains of one of the chair covers, he pulled the fabric over his head and started to sing.
"Eve Ordaaalaaaannnnniiiiiiiii... whya youaa wreeeckkkaaaa thee conferenca rooommmaaaa????? Donto youaaa kknooowwww Commmandderrra Waynaaa gooonnnaaa thrrooowwaaa fittttaaaa????
Eve cracked a slight smile beneath the tears at this lunatic's display, as he continued.
"Heee goonnnaaa saayyaa Enssinnnaaaa Rinngoooo, youuu suucchhaa afooloooo... Putttaa you onnaa reporto, makee a you scruba potato..." Ringo peeked through the fabric wig to see if he was making a dent in her tears. "Enssinnaaaa Ringoooo nooo caro whattta Eartho doublo Evo do o... Neeetheer do o resto crew o... Ifffaa thiss no mako you smilo, I will send you moro Au de Ringoooooo...."
Ringo, by this point in his Opera Man routine, had worked his way over to Eve.
"What say you and I clean this room up before Commander Wayne admits us both for pysch evals; you for destroying the conference room, me for singing."
The moment was broken by Wayne.
"Too Late Ensssinnaaa Ringooo. Lieutenant, I've blocked access to the Earth-based transmissions to all but senior staff which have a need to know. If you run into a problem with members of this crew regarding the video transmission you saw, I will deal with it as a breach of discipline and disrespect towards a Starfleet officer and will carry with it the maximum punishment that the regulations allow me to dole out."
