"You know you're not going to get rid of me!" the entity said through Haskins.  "I can leave this body and go into another—"  But Brisk delivered the hypospray and Haskins' body fell limp.
Kelly looked on as Haskins stopped pulling against his restraints and lie still.  She looked over at Wolf laying calmly on his biobed.  He was clearly in shock; taking in his surroundings as if they were entirely familiar was not something a temporally displaced person should be doing.  Turning back to Haskins, whose eyes fluttered and moved erratically, he was clearly in the throes of some kind of... possession.  Despite the fact that he was now unconscious, Kelly could feel the other presence deep within him somewhere.  The way his eyes continually moved beneath their partially closed lids suggested that he was still battling with whatever was inside him.
She felt torn in half with the two men in sickbay.  Both clearly needed her help and her presence.  She wished that she could give them both her full attention.  She thought of Counselor B'Eryn and thought about bringing her in.  Looking back at Wolf, she decided that it was probably not the best idea to bring a Klingon into the room even if she was a counselor.  Sure, Wolf's people had been in contact with other peoples at this time, but she was almost sure they'd never seen anything like a Klingon before.  Rather than tax her already shocked patient, she decided it was best to let him rest for now and turned her attention back to Commander Haskins.
Along with Dr. Brisk, she began analyzing his vitals.  They agreed that there was an unusual pattern to his EKG which suggested another being had somehow invaded his body.  The women were preparing to run some more tests when Haskins began to stir in the biobed.
"Mal," he said.  His voice sounded normal now.  Kelly turned to see him testing his restraints and strode over to Mala's side.
"Commander Haskins?  How are you feeling?" she asked.  She sensed the presence of the entity, but it felt different somehow....
