Almost immediately after the counselor left, a doctor walked up and treated Wolf's ailments. While the doc was working to restore his weakened muscles, he overheard Haskins' comment to Nacin. Immediately his head snapped in the direction of the lieutenant commander and he got up off the biobed, much to the complaints of the doctor. He stumbled over to the other biobed and leaned on the counselor for balance.
"What did you say?" His tone was that of surprise and irritation. The doc walked up to him and tried to get him to return to the other bed, only to be brushed off. "Where did you hear that... huh? Someone put you up to saying that? Tell me!" Wolf was on the border of lashing out at the grinning Haskins.
